“Very disappointed with Seasons Lake Joondalup with the handling of my dads funeral, in particular the video recording which we were told would be provided. To not have the ability to re-watch our dads funeral is heartbreaking, but the handling of "recording" post funeral is just as bad and stressful for my mum who is trying to cope/adjust to life post death. We were told that a recording would be done as we opted against a live stream due to private reasons. A while after the funeral, the pack was sent to my mum with no DVD recording. She made enquiries and it took a further two weeks to be notified that the recording only went for 2 minutes, and barely enough to see dad's casket enter the room. The ability to have the funeral on record would give the family time to reflect on his life in a more private setting, and whenever they would have wanted. Also, would have given other friends and family members a chance to watch who couldn't make it initially. I understand that there were technical issues which WAS KNOWN at the time. This lack of communication of the issues meant we couldn't sort alternate methods of recording - such as using a phone. And to offer a one line apology to someone who is clearly upset that she can't privately reflect on this day any time she wants, is just poor. The customer service has failed in this whole debacle. If I could give this review 0 stars I would.”
