On the 5th February 2026, 2 days after my Father passed away, we called into simplicity funerals joondalup to find out a couple of details, we were both visibly distraught just loosing my Dad and Grandad. 3 years ago my Daughter and I helped my elderly Parents set up their pre payed funeral at the joondalup office. So we had exposure to their requests. When we walked in I clearly said I had lost my Dad 2 days ago and was quite distressed due to the fact my Mother was withholding funeral information from the whole family. I asked the receptionist if I could speak to the funeral director for my Dad. She was very cold and abrupt. A young guy came out and shock my hand and said hello. I ask him if he could advise me when my Fathers funeral was so we could plan and also for my Son to fly interstate. We were told the funeral was private at the request of my mother .. I was in shock explained the family dynamics but very unsympathetic said he couldn’t say and I’d have to speak to my Mother, at this time a miserable faced woman with blond hair came and stood behind the counter
