- Families look for a funeral director by suburb or postcode, by the type of service they need, and by faith or tradition. Your listing appears in the ordinary results on the pages that match your location and the services you list.
- They can reach you straight from your page
- Your phone number and website link are on your page on every plan. Families can also send you a request through your page, or ask you for a quote through Get free quotes, at no charge to you. You can correct your details at any time.
- Featured and Featured+ show families more
- A fuller page about your services and people, your own photographs, your card in a clearly labelled featured section on your local page (up to three local pages on Featured+), and no other directors suggested beside your page.
A family may compare several funeral directors, often outside business hours. Clear service areas, a working phone number, useful service descriptions, optional published prices and photographs help them decide whom to contact. We have been improving how Funerals Direct presents that information across Google and other discovery tools. A more complete listing is another accurate place for families to read about you. It does not guarantee a Google ranking or an AI recommendation.

Paid plans are shown first in Get free quotes
When a family uses Get free quotes for the suburb where you hold a paid place, Featured+ and then Featured directors with a place on that suburb’s page are listed first, clearly labelled as paid. The family still chooses whom to ask, and their request comes to you in full.
Some funeral directors pay for placement in clearly marked featured sections. Payment does not change the order of ordinary results.
- Billing and cancelling
- Billed monthly, with no minimum term. You can cancel at any time, and the plan stops at the end of the month you have paid for, with no further charges.
- If you join by 30th November
- If you join by 30th November, your price is held for your first 12 months. After that, it moves to $99 a month for Featured or $249 a month for Featured+, including GST, and we email you at least 30 days before it changes. If you cancel, the price hold ends.
- Family requests
- Family requests through your listing come to you in full on every plan, including Free, and we do not charge for them. Families can also use Get free quotes to ask up to three funeral directors at once. Featured and Featured+ directors are shown first there, clearly labelled as paid.
No plan guarantees a Google ranking, a mention in an AI tool, calls, requests or bookings, and no local area is exclusive. The full terms are in the Director Listing Agreement.

- Set up with you, at no charge
- Nailea sets up your page with you at no charge. You approve every word and photo before it goes live.
