I cannot thank the team at Purslowe & Chipper enough for the beautiful send off of my universe’s life celebration. Their quick responses and team organisation was second to none. Everything was top quality and the extra effort and touches were personal and so thoughtful. Thank you Jacky and the team for giving my family and friends the most beautiful closure to such and amazing Hubby, goofy Dad, Brother, Son and all over Top Bloke.

Apr 2025We recently worked with Purslowe and Chippers to arrange Mum's funeral. Jackie, who managed everything, was extra-ordinarily empathetic and kind, making the harrowing job manageable at a time of high stress. She gave me excellent advice and indulged me when I wanted to prepare my own slideshow and funeral program, linking me up with specialists who adapted the presentation (to add music) and print the programs. She arranged a celebrant [who was just lovely] and managed the entire funeral with impeccability, ensuring we met the tight timeline for the Chapel booking. She provided excellent advice regarding the catering. She was very supportive during the viewing and very sensitive to the high emotions that we were dealing with. At the end of the service, while the rest of the family were talking to mourners, she sat with dad and quietly supported him when he was overwhelmed. Afterwards I re-watched the service (I was too overwhelmed to note very much during the event) and had the opportunity to note her attention to detail. Jackie and her team were so thoughtful and compassionate. I cannot recommend Purslowe and Chippers enough.

Feb 2021My Dad chose Purslowe & Chipper Wangara as the place for his funeral before he passed. He was able to meet with the funeral director, Ashley, to begin discussing what was involved and any requirements needed. Ashley was kind, compassionate and understanding during this meeting. Once Dad had passed, Ashley made the planning process easy and stress free for my siblings and I. He was quick in replying to all emails and messages. When I met with Ashley through every stage, he made the process enjoyable as he had met my Dad and was able to remember him with me. He made it easy to laugh at the good things. The day ran seamlessly, largely because of Ashley. He was incredibly supportive throughout the entire experience. Months later, he provided assistance in getting my Dad's ashes to the US. He went above and beyond his role as a funeral director. Ashley made the whole experience a positive one.
