Jan 2026From the moment I entered Mareena Purslowe Funerals Wangara, I was treated with understanding, compassion, courtesy, empathy, warmth and professionalism. I was an emotional and physical wreck as my partner of forty years had passed away and I had absolutely no idea of what to do. A lovely lady named Jackie co-ordinated every detail and provided invaluable assistance through the processes of casket, clothing, flowers, limousines and procedures from home to the Cemetery. My partner is/was the love of my life and there will be nothing that eases the pain and the grief. Sept 2025Dave and myself would like to thank the Staff at Mareena Purslowe in Wangara for conducting a funeral for our beloved mother Mary Arkless. We would especially like to thank Aza who was amazing. She was exceptionally professional, respectful and made us feel like we did not have to worry about any of the arrangements as she had everything in hand. Mar 2024Mareena Purslowe Funerals Wangara conducted a beautiful service for our Mum. From the start Lydia made us feel comfortable with her gentle and compassionate approach. Lydia and any other staff that we had dealings with were very helpful and approachable with any queries. The service was perfect and all the ladies were lovely. It was a service that mum would have been very happy with. Lydia also touched based to check in and see how we were coping. Once again thank you Lydia and all the staff at Mareena Purslowe Funerals. Nov 2024We farewelled our Dad recently at a family Memorial in the chapel at Mareena Purslowe Wangara. Caitlyn arranged it all for us and did an amazing job. She couldn’t have been more efficient, empathetic or kinder. Nothing was too much trouble. The chapel looked beautiful with magnificent flowers and candles and a few things displayed that my Dad loved. We went through to the lounge afterwards and Jackie worked hard serving drinks and the most delicious snacks. Thank you so much Purslowes, Caitlyn and Jackie. It was a perfect send off for our darling Dad.
