“We were overwhelmed with who to chose when I lost my father unexpectedly but were recommended to reach out to Eric via a friend. He was very responsive and answered all the questions we had before we even had to ask. He then put us in touch with Carol who has been wonderful and empathic throughout the whole process. I am so happy I chose Hetherington as they made a very difficult time much less stressful with their care and support.”
Emma WilliamsonNovember 2025“Dear Poppy, We want to extend our sincerest thanks to you for all your hard work, dedication, and professionalism. After visiting another funeral home that didn’t feel quite right, we contacted Hetherington, and you answered the phone. From that first conversation, your calm and compassionate approach gave us a sense of reassurance we desperately needed. You kindly made time to meet with us that very same day, and after speaking with you in person, we immediately felt confident we were in the right hands. Despite the challenges and disagreements within our family during this emotional time, you remained calm, patient, and understanding throughout. Your support made a huge difference to us, and we are so grateful for the way you handled everything with grace and empathy. The funeral itself was absolutely seamless. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, and everything went beautifully—thanks to your attention to detail and the care you put into your work. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Poppy. We truly appreciate everything you did for our family and our beloved mother-in-law. Warm regards, The Burnet Family / Schout Family”
