Deeply Disappointing and Distressing Experience Seasons Funerals in Canning Vale claim to take great pride in their attention to detail and in caring for families during times of loss — but sadly, my experience was the complete opposite. I was told that payment for my father’s funeral was required 24 hours before the service, yet I did not receive the invoice until the day of the funeral itself. This lack of organisation was just the beginning. They submitted multiple errors on the death certificate, including incorrect names, and it had to be reissued three times. Each mistake was not only upsetting but also created significant delays and emotional strain at an already heartbreaking time. Payment for the funeral was arranged via my late father’s bank account. Due to an error by the bank, payment was delayed — but I was not informed by either the bank or Seasons Funerals. Instead of reaching out to clarify or resolve the issue, Seasons issued a local court summons. I was forced to attend court unnecessarily, only for the magistrate to immediately dismiss the case, as the payment had already been processed by the bank before the hearing date. It was a complete waste of time and added immense stress to an already traumatic period. At no point did I feel cared for, respected, or supported by Seasons Funerals.
