June 2025I really need to express my families gratitude for our experience with Sheridan Funerals. My son Joshua passed away tragically 11 weeks ago and we were faced with the unthinkable. Who would help our family in our destroyed world. This had to be people we could trust, who would care for my son with love and respect. It had to be right in my heart and it had to be someone who didnt just do this as a job, but made me feel like it was a privilege and honour to care for my son. The first call to Rebecca was a blur for me. I didn’t know where my son was or if I’d ever get to see him again. She so calmy said “give me 10 minute”. She then called and said “My Friend” I promise, I PROMISE you will see your son. A relieving and collapsing moment for me after a night of wondering if a goodbye was possible. The wait for my son to be released from the coroner was gut wrenching and seemed like forever. Rebecca did everything she could to get Joshua into her loving care. She was in this journey with me and went above and beyond what other companies would have. Her call to say Josh was released was the best. Jay (Transfer Team) had finished for the day, but raced to get our Josh so he didn’t spend another night there, proved yet again it wasnt just one person with the exceptional care factor, it was a whole team of beautiful humans helping our familys grief lighten just a bit extra. Mar 2025Sheridan handled our beloved Mum’s funeral superbly. They listened to what we wanted and made it happen down to the last detail. We got to have Mum at home, care for her for the final time in our own way, which brought us the greatest comfort and dignity of saying farewell. I went to a few Funeral places to check about the arrangements and they treated me like a number, this is what we do and that’s how it is. So lucky that we were recommended Sheridan almost at the last hour. The staff at Sheridan Funerals are brilliant, a small team of caring people not some corporation. Forever grateful that we were in the hands of caring, lovely people.
