Feb 2025As a family new to Ballarat and with limited knowledge about planning a funeral, we felt completely supported every step of the way by David and his team. From the beginning, David listened to everything we said and asked for, ensuring the day was exactly as we envisioned. Since we are a small family, we were initially concerned that a funeral home might feel too spacious, but the venue was light, bright, and intimate—just perfect for us. The chapel, overlooking the garden, created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We were also fortunate to have celebrant Jo Kruse guide us through the service, making it a true celebration of life. The gathering after the service included cake slices, hot food, and tea and coffee, which made the occasion feel even more personal and meaningful. Dylan, who was recommended to us, beautifully put together a photo tribute set to music, which everyone agreed truly captured the spirit of our loved one and kept the focus on celebrating their life. The entire experience was seamless, heartfelt, and deeply comforting. We are incredibly grateful to David and his team for creating such a special farewell for our loved one. My 8 year old found an apple tree on the property too.
