Feb 2026Thank you for nice peaceful atmosphere to say a Goodbye to a loved one, it was indeed a lovely service... But I just want to highlight that the toilet could do with some disability railing for the elderly.. As I had trouble getting into the cubicle to help my Aunty today, because it was locked and she had struggled to pull herself up of the toilet to stand up... Got there in the end, thank God.. But could have been a real problem...

Nov 2024Our experience with Pat Cashins Funeral Directors in Ballarat was deeply disappointing and distressing. While Pat initially came across as kind and friendly when we were deciding on services, his demeanor changed dramatically once we committed to using his company. He became forgetful and rude, and the “ballpark” quote he provided turned out to be over $1,000 short of the final bill. To make matters worse, he verbally abused us on multiple occasions, including on the day of the funeral, in front of our grieving family. This behavior was both unprofessional and utterly disrespectful. In one shocking instance, he described the cremation process in unnecessary and graphic detail to my Dad and Uncle, including temperatures and the removal of metals. This was completely inappropriate and added to our distress during an already difficult time. When I later called to discuss the bill, his conduct was even more abusive. After speaking with others in the community, it appears our negative experience is not an isolated one. I would strongly advise anyone against using Pat Cashins Funeral Directors. A funeral is a time for compassion and professionalism, neither of which we received from this company.

Feb 2024My deepest thanks to Pat Cashin and his team for the thoughtful and professional funeral service and burial of my great uncle. The genuine feeling of compassion and concern that Pat showed for the wishes of my great uncle will long be remembered and appreciated. The gardens and chapel are beautifully presented and very peaceful.
