“An awfully depressing place for people to send off their loved ones to add to their grief as if they're not already depressed enough. Extremely bland decor, nothing's changed for years. Bird sh!t stained windows up the front over the alcove where the coffin sits facing mourners, boring Wild Rice paint, the same old dried up large fake flower arrangement, no window dressings or filters/curtains, glare in summer, it's like sitting in a relocatable unit with a stereo blaring when the chosen music is played. Not a touch of taste, colour or comfort anywhere. One toilet for each gender in the foyer that might have dozens of mourners. I loathe attending funerals there, no effort at all made for any atmosphere of peace or comfort. Cornelian Bay is marginally better. I'd sooner be sent off with a backyard bonfire than have my funeral there.”
