Sept 2024Two ladies came to pick up mum when she passed, the more senior of which had a very condescending manner towards Myself and the younger lady with her. She complained that I had forgot to tell them about two small steps and again complained when they couldnt get the stretcher into mums bedroom and told me I would have to help them lift her. I then had to help them lift my mother onto the stretcher and then assist them wheeling mum down the side of the house where she almost ended up in the garden if it hadn't been for me preventing it. My father luckily was oblivous to this thankfully. I have waited until his passing to leave this review.

July 2022I cannot praise Millingtons enough, from the minute we met John to the end of the service we were shown great care and compassion by all the staff, at Millingtons. our Celebrant Jill was so caring taking time out to ensure our elderly father was very much part of the service as well as supporting people providing eulogies in a very positive way, the service was one of quiet dignity appropriate to our mother, also after the service we held a get together at the chapel in Moonah and they provided a lovely morning tea, with very kind staff serving. thank you Millingtons

Apr 2020Had some monumental work done, adding my mum on to the headstone were my dad and sister are. Was not sent a prove of finished work to be approved. Upon going to the cemetery the date my mum passed away was the same day as when she was buried!!!! My brother and I paid over $1000 for the change. Total incompetence on such a sensitive matter as they had all the information. Error was later fixed.

Nov 2021An awfully depressing place for people to send off their loved ones to add to their grief as if they're not already depressed enough. Extremely bland decor, nothing's changed for years. Bird sh!t stained windows up the front over the alcove where the coffin sits facing mourners, boring Wild Rice paint, the same old dried up large fake flower arrangement, no window dressings or filters/curtains, glare in summer, it's like sitting in a relocatable unit with a stereo blaring when the chosen music is played. Not a touch of taste, colour or comfort anywhere. One toilet for each gender in the foyer that might have dozens of mourners. I loathe attending funerals there, no effort at all made for any atmosphere of peace or comfort. Cornelian Bay is marginally better. I'd sooner be sent off with a backyard bonfire than have my funeral there.
