Apr 2025Purslowe and Chipper Funerals Subiaco organised my husband’s funeral held in March, 2025. My family and I were very impressed with how professional and caring the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble. I had prepaid the funeral so a lot of decisions were already made, which helped. It is a very emotional time when a family loses a loved one and a lot of decisions have to be made quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending in Purslowe and Chippers Funerals Subiaco.

Aug 2025Too many contractors to deal with; celebrant, caterers, graphic source, memorial media and two home visits when one visit would’ve done. For $18,000, I felt like I was the total organiser of all the funeral contractors. Some of the contractors did not call, text or leave a message when the eulogy was missing. Instead, I was confronted at the chapel five minutes before the service began, in front of my family, and with my mother in the front herse ready to be cremated. Apparently, I was assured, it was all my fault. And yet I had not been called, texted or a message left. Another contractor on the other hand, made mistakes that were not corrected properly and yet, I was still charged for it. Worse, no follow-up received in regard to any issues that I may have had. Instead, after asking for a way to give feedback, I was given this stupid QR code thing to write a review. I would have preferred this feedback to be private. Very unimpressed with the care and attention taken by Purslowe and Chippers funerals.
