Oct 2024Heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Ed McCarthy and the team at Seasons Funeral Homes, Redcliffe, for the caring and compassionate way they managed Dad's funeral last week. From the moment we first met Ed at the office to the time Dad's coffin left the Cathedral for the cremation, Ed showed great compassion, kindness, patience and understanding for everything we wanted to do for Dad's funeral. Nothing was too much trouble and Dad was dressed beautifully in his priest's vestments - like I said to Ed, it was like a miracle that we found him as he was just the right person to look after our loved one. It was also such a lovely gesture to be given the beautiful soy candle together with the packets of sunflower seeds and attendance cards all nicely presented. Thank you very much again, Ed, and Seasons Funeral Homes, Redcliffe.

The two gentlemen who came to collect our loved one from our home were patient and respectful. Margaret was gentle and caring on the phone. We were grateful for the support and guidance from Lynne & Dee when we came to dress our loved one for the funeral. And Darren was a supportive and kind driver on the day of the funeral. Ed took his time to get to know our story in order to send our loved one off in a beautiful and serene way. We felt that he was there for us through the whole journey, and we could trust him to look after the day. Everything on the day of the funeral flowed and that was largely due to his composure and care.

Our funeral arrangements were complex , but Ed McCarthy and his team met every expectation and specific requirement - indeed they went above and beyond the norm. All the Seasons staff we encountered- whether from the Head Office, the Kelmscott branch or those present at the funeral were efficient, considerate and courteous. Ed’s gentlemanly manner and determination to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout all the arrangements is highly commendable.
