Jan 2025No contact made when requesting information, regarding my own mother's funeral , highly disrespectful. Some families aren't in contact with other siblings but this company didn't make an effort to mediate or consider other family members . Shame full .

Mar 2026We wanted an unattended cremation for my mother. They wanted to charge over double what the going rate is. They were terrible to deal with and would not budge on price. They are Money hungry. They quoted over $6000 and we used Bare for under $3000. Exactly the same service. Appalling

Feb 2025I would like to thank Marilyn, the two Darren's and the other Nelson Bros staff from Williamstown for there excellent service on the 31st Jan 2025. There professionalism and kindness was something to behold during the difficult time. Every arrange activity and process ran like clock work and it felt like they were part of the family. We cannot recommend this team highly enough for there work and efforts during this process. Thank you so much all.

Apr 2024Respectful staff but they really dropped the ball as a result my mother’s funeral was neither live streamed nor recorded so many mourners missed out completely. My elderly father did very well to stand and speak but there is now no record!!! The flowers on the coffin were such poor quality they were dying the same night. The recommended celebrant while pleasant had failed to listen leaving me to heavily edit and correct the service. The signing book etc was handed over in a plastic bag! A far cry from the experience had when both my grandparents funerals were done at the same venue. Very very disappointing 🥲😢 It just got worse! Went this afternoon to pick up mum’s ashes. They’ve lost the handmade wooden box that my father made 70 years ago! The attitude of the couple today was that they run the place but they just return from 5 weeks ago and the shocking errors “didn’t happen on my watch”!!!! They also showed me that the velvet bags are still in use… did t give me one though. Nor an explanation about being given a last bag!!! This is just disgusting. 🤮. Honestly people avoid at all costs !!!!
