Mar 2024Last month, our family had the very sad and daunting task of organising my mum’s funeral. The first questions upon her passing were ‘What next? Who do we contact? How do we get started with organising mum’s funeral?’ I recalled hearing an ad on the radio about Simplicity Funerals so contacted their Wantirna branch. This was a decision I will never regret. If I could leave 10 stars, I would. Lyn and her team at the Wantirna brach were absolutely brilliant - warm, compassionate and so supportive. Lyn stepped us through the process so smoothly and nothing was too much trouble to organise. Communication was superb. At the cemetery, Lyn’s colleagues made everything run perfectly smoothly and made the whole experience such that my whole family were 100% happy. I would recommend Simplicity Funerals Wantirna without hesitation to any other family needing to organise a funeral for their loved one.

June 2024im disappointed in this service , after sitting down with them and then paying i left and was never contacted again. i was billed twice which was a mistake ! i was told the crematorium will call me when my fathers ashes were ready , but after weeks, i had to chase them up! only to be told by the crematorium in lilydale that they do not call you, and the funeral home shouldn’t of told you this info. i was also told it can take some time but no! the ashes were ready 24 hours later. so over a month later i now have my dad home and we can have a family gathering. in this hard time there was so many mistakes and i would never use this service again!! not happy
