They were chosen by my brother, who was the executor, and everything was handled professionally and respectfully. Communication was clear, the process was straightforward, and the whole experience was conducted with dignity and care during a difficult time. Based on our experience, I would confidently recommend Harwood Funerals to others who need these services.

Dec 2025We cannot thank Harwoods Funeral Service, especially Trevor and Jane, enough for the care, compassion, and love they showed our family during one of the most difficult times of our lives. From the very beginning, they treated us with such kindness, patience, and genuine understanding, making an overwhelming process feel supported and manageable. Every detail of the service was handled with such thoughtfulness and respect. It was clear how much care and heart Trevor and Jane put into honouring our loved one, and that meant more to us than words can express. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, while also being incredibly gentle and reassuring with our family throughout. We are forever grateful for the compassion, professionalism, and warmth shown to us. Harwoods Funeral Service truly cares about the families they serve, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, meaningful farewell. We highly recommend them to anyone needing support and guidance during such a difficult time.

Mar 2025Julie, the owner of Harwood Funerals, was absolutely thorough with everything arranged for a pre paid funeral from start to finish with a locked-in price. Nothing asked was difficult and offering advice along the way, she's such an honest and caring human, which made this journey so much easier for everyone involved. 🤍 I went to one of the bigger public companies with several offices located around, and found it was cold and uninviting with no set prices and unable to come to an agreement. The atmosphere was very cold and so professional like a board room meeting, not a good look for people who are nearing the end of their journey here. So we looked around and found Harwoods and i recommend this organisation and know they will attend to your every request, no matter how small a detail. Thank you Julie. 💫🕊️🤍

Feb 2021I met Julie and Steve as a result of attending a close friends family funeral that they arranged. A few weeks later I lost my own Mother and did not hesitate to contact Julie. As with my friend she was extremely kind and her level of professionalism and attention to detail was second to none. Every aspect of my mothers funeral was handled with genuine compassion and care and while it was certainly a difficult day the co-ordination and planning that Julie provided to our family alleviated much of our stress. At a time when people are experiencing a loss, for some finances can be overwhelming. Julies practical approach and very affordable pricing while maintaining all the details of a high cost funeral was also a big factor in our choice of Directors.
