Dec 2020The team at Nelson Brothers Footscray and Sunshine were very caring, helpful and efficient in looking after the needs of my family during a very difficult time and not withstanding the added challenge of covid restrictions. The team at Nelson Brothers went beyond the call of duty to help cater for my family's cultural requirements and needs, including organising transfer from the hospital to home when no one else offered this service. The whole experience was very well planned and their engagement and communication was great. A special call out to Mike, Michelle, John and the whole team at the Footscray facility for their compassion and great work. I highly recommend the team Nelson brothers Footscray and Sunshine for the funeral service of your loved ones.

Sept 2022Thank you Iven, Graeme and the team for organising my father’s funeral in 5 days over the 4 day long weekend to honour the specific cultural date my mum requested. We managed to give dad a great send off despite some minor unavailabilities (no staff for tea & coffee) which is understandable due to very short notice and over 2 public holidays and weekend. A technical hiccup with the laptop and screens but was resolved by one of your mortuary staff before service started. Staff made sure I was heard during the day and respected our wishes. I know if we had extra time to put it all together it would have been perfect. Thanks again for putting it all together under a tight timeline and limited resources.

Jan 2025Frustrating and unnecessarily stressful experience trying to plan a funeral service with this company. They handballed a lot of the work back to us, and also made a number of mistakes. Absolutely not recommended - try others!
