Oct 2020Losing our mother/mother-in-law/loving grandmother to our children was devastating and then we had to face the complications of a final send off due to Covid. From the very first phone call to Lyndal, the director of Bethel Funerals Carrum Downs, right through to the very last moments of saying good bye, Bethel Funerals not only eased any worries we had along the way, they went over and beyond to help us give our beloved mother/grandmother the most perfect send off beyond anything we could've dreamed of. Though many family and friends were heartbroken they couldn't say their final farewell in person, they, along with hundreds and hundreds of people from around the world were grateful for Bethels amazing live streaming service which allowed them ALL to be a part of this very special send off! 'Thank You' hardly feels adequate to express the deep gratitude we have for Amanda who gave impeccable mortuary care, Rod who helped perfect the day with the physical and live stream set up and beyond and Lyndal who treated us like family from the first phone call to saying our final goodbye, ensuring every wish, request and hopes that were possible happened to perfection! Oct 2020We’ve just had our Mothers funeral yesterday but I couldn’t let a day go past without leaving a review for Bethel Funerals Carrum Downs, particularly Lyndal and Rod. In this time of Covid we were so worried how we could give our mother the send off she so deserved, but Lyndal and Rod ensured it was perfect. The service was more than we could’ve asked for, and we heard nothing but praise from our family and friends who could not attend but had to watch online. Thank you Bethel Funerals.

Mar 2024Highly recommend Bethel funerals. The care and personal support was so genuine. Every detail and arrangement was carried out with ease and professionalism. They made the process straightforward, providing all the necessary information and resources to facilitate the smooth running of our farewell events. Having a pre-paid funeral arrangement also eased some of the stress as plans had already been recorded and information documented, so meant we avoided some preliminary gathering of information. We also value the fact that they are a “not for profit” organisation sowing money back into significant community needs. We are thankful that in what is a very difficult emotional time that Bethel took our hand and walked us through the process. It was a very calming experience knowing they were attending to things in the background. Louise was just lovely and supportive and caring in every way. For genuine care, personal investment and excellence in funeral services I definitely recommend Bethel.
