Mar 2026We had my Dad’s funeral at Allison Monk House in Brighton last week. It was absolutely flawless. Rebecca Stefanakis, Funeral Arranger, was amazing. She was so professional, friendly, kind and had a lovely way about her. She made the entire process so pleasant and was so helpful with suggestions and assistance. We had refreshments afterwards which were perfect. High quality delicious sandwich’s and various small desserts served with coffee and tea. The Chapel was so warm and inviting for guests with a lovely garden and small waterfall as a back drop. I honestly cannot recommend this Funeral service more highly. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making my Dad’s funeral a true celebration of life and a personal thank you to Rebecca.

They were friendly and accommodating and explained everything we needed to know and get done. Angela and her team did a fabulous job from the first meeting through to the event and even followed up. Would highly recommend.

July 2024Angela Seaton of Allison Monkhouse Brighton seamlessly organised the funeral for our father. Her warm and friendly demeanour greatly helped my sister and I and our mother during this very difficult time. No request was too much trouble and was handled promptly with a smile at all times. We also wish to thank everyone at Allison Monkhouse Brighton from the prompt and respectful pick-up of our father to the beautiful service and John's caring and respectful driving after the service. Angela is the funeral director every family needs at such a stressful time as she will put you at ease with her warmth, friendliness, professionalism, and efficiency. Mar 2025On behalf of my brother, sister and our families I want to express out deepest appreciation to the entire team at Alison Monkhouse which was competently led by Siobhan Farley. The support and kindness shown before and throughout the funeral of our father Francesco Longo was invaluable. We thank you all for the work you undertook with professionalism and thoughtfulness; it made the experience of farewelling our dear Dad very special. It was a mammoth job carried out efficiently and carefully from beginning to end: from the newspaper and online funeral notice, the viewing, the Funeral Mass Booklet, the singer, the organisation of church and hall with refreshments, the media team who looked after the photo reflection and music, the transport vehicles and drivers, the streaming of the Funeral, the burial and more... it all proceeded without a hitch. We send you many thanks for your guidance and your attention to detail. It all exceeded our expectations and enabled us to give our dad a beautiful and apt farewell.
