Alluvium Water Cremations

“My children and I want to express our sincere gratitude for your support and understanding during this difficult time. Luke was so kind and compassionate in explaining everything to us and answering our queries with honesty and dignity. What a beautiful way to handle my husbands transition - to be returned to the earth in such a peaceful and gentle way. My son and daughter were particularly comforted in that their dad was placed in a bath of warm water and that all of his 'ashes' were returned to us in a pristine manner. Luke handled all the necessary paperwork which took so much pressure off the family. We did not need a coffin or book a crematorium so the whole process was carried out within 8 days from his passing to when he was personally returned to us. He came back to us in a cute little crate made from recycled wood with the biodegradable urn and a lovely plant on a bed of straw. On top of that we were given three seperate handprints, one for each of us, a seperate small urn which will be given to our daughter and all accompanied with a lovely personally written letter from the Alluvium family. We were able to lay him to rest on our property under his favourite tree and give him a very private and personal farewell in our own way and in our own time. “I can't speak more highly of the team at Alluvium for taking such good care of our family at such a difficult time in our lives. Their professionalism, empathy and compassion went above and beyond in every way. They were with us every step of the way from the planning stages, to after death care which all occured at home. They encouraged and supported us to provide all funeral care at home that was completely led by us. They even played mums favourite song on her cremation day which was an added personal touch and we were kept updated with considerate communication always. Brendan was brilliant at explaining things and the price for the cremation was affordable! This has allowed us to plan a celebration of mums life which will occur later this year.
