Jan 2026My brother passed away earlier this year, Elliott Funeral Services was recommended, my nephew ( his son) myself and my husband went down to the Main North Road , Blair Athol office to identify and to say our last goodbyes. We walked in to the reception area and that's where we stood to fill out forms , we were very emotional as you can imagine, was not offered to go into a private room to fill the forms out , no cuppa offered ,but the worst part was when we had finished saying our goodbyes, we could hear someone nailing the coffin shut while we were still in reception, my brother was placed in a pine coffin box , that was his son's wishes, so you can imagine how awful it was hearing the hammering, they could had waited til we had left, when my nephew asked for a receipt after paying for the funeral , it was written on a scrap peice of paper, I did send an email to Elliott Funerals with my concerns but got no reply, will not deal with this company again
