Burying your child is something no parent should ever have to do, and it was so hard for us to trust someone to take care of the funeral process. My biggest concern was whether someone would treat our baby girl with the gentleness and love she deserved. From the beginning, Yasemin was incredibly soft, genuine, and caring. She listened to every particular detail I had and nothing was ever too much of an ask. She responded quickly, attentively, and kept us in the loop with everything. On the day of our daughter’s funeral, Yasemin and her team made sure everything ran smoothly, but not only that, they provided comfort, genuine empathy, and such heartfelt care towards us and all of our guests. Loss and grief are unimaginably hard, and if it’s something you are going through, we couldn’t recommend Rite of Passage Funerals more highly. Yaz didn't just accommodate these needs; she championed them. She was a true stand for our family, navigating every non-negotiable cultural request with total respect and a 'can-do' attitude. She made the difficult logistics feel easy. If you are looking for a director who listens, cares, and respects tradition, Yaz is the one.
