And when they say they are Compassionate & are not for profit, they mean it & they show these through their acts of service & in everything they say & do. A phenomenal team with Big loving hearts. From the time we started communicating with Emily & Kim over the phone & in person about a year ago when we were told to start putting things in place for our mum who had dementia until the final days leading up to our mum's final moment before she was taken to the Albany Creek Crematorium, you have all been absolutely amazing. As a family, we were so very grateful that Kim was able to allow us to have a viewing for us to spend those priceless last moments with our mum in their chapel & had the chance to decorate her coffin "A beautiful beautiful send off for our mum before taken to the Crematorium" (as cremation is very new to us) & for us to follow the hearse straight after. Thank you for being efficient as well. We received our mum's important items earlier than expected & Emily had done an amazing job with all the required documents & our mum's urn (ashes). The wonderful memorial at Albany Creek Memorial Park was everything we imagined and more for our Mother and Nonna. Everything flowed beautifully and seemlessly, from our private family viewing at their chapel to the moment Mum's ashes were returned to us with the utmost respect. Feb 2026Kim and her team at Compassionate Funerals helped with our Dad's funeral recently. I can't recommend them highly enough. From the first meeting and through to the funeral itself, they could not have been more sensitive and caring. Their service was extremely professional and compassionate and they helped us make all of the hard decisions. Their advice and recommendations were extremely helpful. And their recommendation of David as our celebrant was perfect. He nailed his role and we were very pleased with the funeral service. Emily was extremely helpful with preparing the slideshow and incorporating a special video clip of Dad speaking and the tech worked perfectly on the day.
