Feb 2026I'm so glad I chose this wonderful business - they really earn their excellent reputation!🦋 ADRIENNE efficiently organised my beloved DAD'S funeral with quiet compassion and expertise. BONNIE, the mortician, did an absolutely outstanding presentation. My DAD looked so serene and dignified with his signature red 🌹 rose. A huge highlight for me was having darling ARCHIE 🐶, the gorgeous caramel teddy bear comfort dog by my side. When I came in the front door for the viewing, ARCHIE excitedly ran down the stairs and jumped on me 🥰. The beautiful historic building and chapel is so elegant and tranquil. The funeral day was just perfect - warm, sunny and musical with 3 uplifting songs and a few magpies dropping by to watch. Thanks also to Stuart, David and Michael. ♥️👨🏻🌹

Mar 2026I am extremely disappointed with my experience. During one of the most painful times in my life, I felt that Julie showed no compassion or willingness to listen or help. I did not feel supported, cared for, or understood while grieving someone so dear to me. To make matters worse, important documentation was not filled out correctly, despite the correct information being provided. This caused additional stress at an already heartbreaking time. If you choose this funeral home, I strongly recommend requesting someone other than Julie. No one should have to deal with this level of care during such a difficult moment.

Dec 2025The most amazing caring people. This team dealt with us during our time of loss with the upmost compassion and love. They went above and beyond making sure the memorial and burial was perfect. From the moment we set foot in th home Adrianne made us feel like we were family. Their support dog Archie was a wonderful touch, it helped us all with our loss and all of the raw emotions. Tristan and team also made sure everything was perfect at the cemetery. Can’t speak highly enough about this outstanding team. Thank you so much for making the most difficult time in our lives the most touching and memorable day.

Feb 2026I called K.M.Smith in search of an urgent replacement of an urn after my original supplier fell through. I was deeply upset as a delay in getting the urn would mean a delay in bringing my daughter home. Kirsty was incredibly sensitive and managed to not only help me order the same urn but organised a wholesaler I could collect it from day of. Because of Kirsty's kindness I managed to get the perfect urn and finally bring my daughter back home day of. Even though we had gone through another funeral home for the cremation they didn't hesitate to help me, were super speedy in sorting a solution and even offered to help decant her ashes for free. I would highly recommend their services to anyone as they were so thoughtful, professional and prompt.

Mar 2025What can I say but WOW. From the first meeting to the Burial. Frank, Friendly, Open, Honest, Reliable, Professional, Caring and just Beautiful People work for KM Smith. Scott from Capalaba was like a friendly family friend who was focused on doing whatever he could to make My Mother's Mass and Burial an easy and special event. To receive regular calls of support was amazing and showed that they really did care. From the viewing to the Mass and Final Burial I felt cared about and respected at every step. Trevor at Payments even called me back to share special conections with my Family History. I couldn't recommend more the Lovely staff from KM Smith. Thank You for letting me have a Scottish theme in our Mass Booklet. It made everything Perfect. With much Respect for the true Professionals.
