From the very first moment, Jane treated us with such dignity and kindness, helping us through one of the most heartbreaking times of our lives. Jane went above and beyond in every way. She guided us through organising our mother’s funeral from start to finish in a very short period of time, always keeping us informed, reassured, and supported. She listened to everything we asked for and honoured every detail with such care and sensitivity. Nothing was ever too much trouble. What truly set Jane apart was how genuinely she cared for us. She came to our home to sit with us and talk things through, came to the hospital to check in on things, and continued to check in on us even after the funeral had taken place. She personally delivered everything back to our house and followed up to make sure we received everything in the post. These thoughtful gestures meant more to us than words can express. Jane’s warmth, empathy, and genuine compassion made an unbearable time feel just a little lighter. We are forever grateful for everything she did for our family and would wholeheartedly recommend Jane and McCartney Family Funerals to anyone needing truly caring and respectful support.

Our deepest thanks go to Jane, who guided us from day one and ensured everything went exactly as we wanted. She was compassionate, attentive, and always checked that we were comfortable with every decision. Even after dad was laid to rest, Jane continued to check in on our family, which meant so much to us. Feb 2026Two years ago my wife and I chose McCartney's to assist with the arrangements for my sister-in-law. Quite frankly we did this because she died insolvent and we were looking for an economical but respectful service. We were so impressed with McCartney's thoughtfulness and efficiency that, when my brother-in-law recently passed suddenly we had no hesitation in using them again. On this occasion the McCartney Family represented by Jane and our Celebrant Marilyn once again helped us plan the arrangements and deal with the many details one faces in these situations. Their guidance, advice and kindness was very much appreciated. Well done and thanks to all.
