When Mum died, I called on the people who I entrusted with my Dad’s funeral, John Iskander and his team. Mum died overseas, so John took on the added burden of repatriation, guiding me through the daunting process with patience, kindness, and understanding. All I had to do was call him, and he coordinated everything in conjunction with his overseas contact, helping me with all the necessary legal paperwork and permissions in both countries. The care and dignity John and his team gave to Mum and to my family brought real comfort. He even assisted with the arrangements of the catering for the gathering that followed the funeral. John, Marie and the team at St Nicodemus Funerals have been there for me for both my parents’ funerals. Thank you for your care and service.
