Abbey Funeral Home was started by Warren and Roselind Evans on 29 April 1986 to provide funeral services to Dubbo and the surrounding Central West NSW region.
The business was set up on the belief that local services should reflect both understanding of grieving families and a high standard of professionalism. Almost forty years on, the firm still operates from its Dubbo base arranging at-need funerals as well as pre-paid plans..

“If I could give less than 1 star I would. One bumbling mistake after another. Ashes put in wrong sort of container, given another person's death certificate, couldn't locate my dad's personal belongings, they now believe that they 'might' have been cremated with him. And the whole time I am the one who has had to continuously follow up with them to find out details. And all I got was 'oh sorry'.”
