Oct 2024Fantastic service at reception and everywhere else. Narelle was very considerate of our budget and gave helpful recommendations. We also found a letter from my grandmother that passed where she requested a song for her funeral. We emailed Bowra & O’Dea and the next day they played the song at the funeral. We were so happy that she got her wishes. Thank you!

Aug 2025Very disappointing service. At a time when it really mattered, kindness and care were neglected in interactions, the livestream had no visuals and the audiovisual presentation was cut short with a defensive response of ‘the power went out’. Recommend you find another service.

Aug 2025AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Absolutely disgusting treatment by those who say they operate in the empathy and compassion business. Appalling interactions with representatives facilitating our loved one’s service. Defensive and surly responses to genuine enquiries about a “power cut” mid service and lack of visuals during the livestream. It ruined a beautiful commemoration of life, destroyed our families opportunity to say goodbye and we felt like a complete imposition from the start to finish. Bowra and ODea you should be ashamed in the service you provided and consider offering an apology to our family. Also maybe not try and think only about profits and not cram as many services in one day as you can.

Our options were clearly explained and Bowra & O’Dea were happy to go the extra mile to accommodate all of our individual and very specific requirements. The facilities are excellent and the staff we had assisting us were all very emotionally intelligent and conscientious. From our initial contact everyone acted appropriately and treated all the family and our attendees with the utmost respect. We were very impressed with the service provided and the final send off for Dad.
