Had an awful experience with Jo from this office. My Father died, we made an appointment with her to come to our family home. She turned up at my Brother’s house an hour away from where she was supposed to be (we had confirmed the location with her the previous evening). When she arrived at the incorrect location, she refused to accept responsibility for her error and my sister in law, who luckily was there, could tell - as Jo called her office - that she did not want to come to the correct location but was told to do so by (we assume) her supervisor. She eventually turned up at our house with no apology at all. She then went straight into a pitch along the lines of “Now, first thing I need to tell you is nothing can happen until the Coroner has finished their work…” and that she “did not have a case number” I was aware the Coroner had finished their work 3 days prior and that the case number had been provided to her employer 5 days ago. She responded with a “Well, I don’t have it”. Refusing to accept that it was her responsibility to gather all the relevant information about the assignment before she met with us. At this point I was very unhappy and told Jo as such. She had the most awful, awful manner about her and I decided we could not work with her. She is simply terrible at her job, or at least she very much was on this particular day. Perhaps unhappy that she had to drive to where she was supposed to be in traffic?
