Aug 2025We would like to thank Ruth and the Team at Napier Park Funerals , we have had both our parents funerals there in the last few years . From the very first meeting with Ruth she exceeded our expectations ,we knew we had made the right decision .The services were conducted beautifully and the whole team showed compassion and empathy throughout . The attention to detail was outstanding,the team showed care and professionalism throughout the process which family and friends have commented on the beautiful services that were conducted . We would highly recommend Napier Park .

Aug 2025I am a family member who watched John Gibson's funeral. Would love to have a different camera view as they leave the room and go to the hearse. I view of the family and friends leaving would have been a wonderful thing to experience and to feel a part of everything.

Feb 2025Caring, kind, supportive staff at this most difficult time. Everything was explained very clearly. Even the last minute change of director didn't interrupt the highly professional service we ended up with. We were able to have a service which was very much our own preferred style. I do have some suggestions: 1. In these modern times options for vegetarians, vegans, food allergies etc should be offered for the catering. I would have been prepared to pay more if these were available for the 10% of our guests who were in these categories. We were able to provide our own food for these family members, but it was one more thing to do on a very busy and stressful day. 2. The live stream has been very much appreciated by all of us and it has been a comfort to me to go back and watch it or parts of it from time to time. However, I would have liked to have had a view of the guests from the front to confirm who was there. (We have the guest book, but not all signed it.) 3. The guest book was appreciated. I know it was done at the last minute, but it was disappointing that there is a typo in the date and I have had to white it out and correct it.

Sept 2024Ruth and the team at Napier Park have one of the hardest jobs, yet they do it so seamlessly and make the whole process easier for the family. From the very first phone call they take care of your loved one and treat them with respect and compassion. They simplify the decision making process and coordinate all the arrangements in accordance with the families and deceased wishes. They think of everything from keepsakes such as fingerprint jewellery, video books and photo/ signature book. It’s all presented beautifully and shows great attention to detail. So if you have the unfortunate need to utilise a funeral service.. I would recommend Ruth and her team at Napier Park as I could not fault them and they will look after you in one of the worst times in your life.
