I had absolutely no idea what I was supposed to do next. In complete shock and heartbreak, we called Phil — and from that very first phone call, everything changed. In the most gentle, calm and professional way, he guided me step by step through the entire process. He gave me clarity when I couldn’t think straight and reassurance when I felt completely lost. Everything was seamless. From arranging to bring Mum from Victoria to Tasmania, to sourcing a very specific casket that matched her desired aesthetic, to embracing our very untraditional vision for her celebration of life — nothing was out of reach and nothing was ever “too hard.” Every request was met with compassion and a genuine willingness to make it happen. Phil and Erin went above and beyond every expectation. They somehow made the hardest day of my life feel manageable, beautiful, and deeply meaningful. Their care didn’t feel transactional — it felt personal. It felt like they truly cared about honouring Mum in the exact way she deserved. Even 2.5 years on, Erin still checks in.
