Thankfully, before he passed, he personally allocated via the hospital to use Skinner’s Funeral Home — and I am forever grateful he did. From start to finish, the staff showed true compassion, care, and professionalism. They treated my father with dignity and made sure I was supported every step of the way. Unfortunately, not everyone in the family shared the same priorities. Some suggested moving my father to another funeral home just to save $1,300 — a place that, from everything I heard, felt cold, mechanical, and would have taken four weeks to complete his cremation. Needless to say, honouring my father’s wishes and giving him the respect he deserved was far more important to me. Skinner’s Funeral Home was a blessing during one of the darkest times of my life.
