Apr 2025Losing my father was the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through. Thankfully, before he passed, he personally allocated via the hospital to use Skinner’s Funeral Home — and I am forever grateful he did. From start to finish, the staff showed true compassion, care, and professionalism. They treated my father with dignity and made sure I was supported every step of the way. Unfortunately, not everyone in the family shared the same priorities. Some suggested moving my father to another funeral home just to save $1,300 — a place that, from everything I heard, felt cold, mechanical, and would have taken four weeks to complete his cremation. Needless to say, honouring my father’s wishes and giving him the respect he deserved was far more important to me. Skinner’s Funeral Home was a blessing during one of the darkest times of my life. I can’t recommend them enough for their kindness, compassion, and genuine care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

We were impressed by the organisation of your operations and the way you made every accomodation to make us feel comfortable with your guidance, patience and support. Your attention to detail did not go unnoticed and anything that was asked of you all seemed to be of no trouble, you went beyond the call of duty. The chapel and lounge was tastefully decorated with a calming atmosphere. You all made every detail of the funeral arrangements seamless and made a very difficult process much easier to navigate so a heartfelt thank you again.
