Nov 2025Elberg Funeral Home were impeccably, immeasurably, perfectly, ethically, superbly brilliant in all arrangements for my father-in-law's funeral. From the initial support in regard to the format and procedures, Donata and Damien were an incredible comfort to our family. They were the definition comforting, and handled all the details with kind assurance and understanding. Their wealth of knowledge helped us make very tough decisions in what was and still is, a very upsetting time. From the little touches like picking some flowers from Pa's garden to rest on his coffin, to driving past his house on our way to the church, meant so much. The stress of the day was alleviated because Donata, Damien and staff were thinking of our needs and helping us throughout the day. From remembering to bring all the memorabilia of Pa's trinkets from the church to conducting the burial service because the Priest didn't turn up, their service went above and beyond. If you need a team on your side to get you through what was a very sad and difficult day, Peter Elberg Funerals fits the bill and then some. The handling of everything was faultless. Dec 2025Damien, Peter and the whole Peter Elberg Funerals team provided an exceptional funeral service for my father and a stark difference to our mothers service we had 12 months earlier from a completely different funeral director. Small little things like a flower left on our parents from door, orchid left in my fathers coffin was really appreciated. The viewing service organised a reading by Very Rev. Protopresbyter Strahinja Janjic which we never had for our mums viewing service. The funeral ran so smoothly and on time with everything organised. I cannot speak any highly of Peter Elberg Funerals.
