Mar 2020We booked my father in laws funeral through KM Smith Wynnum. Everything was fantastic until the final invoice arrived. There was a dispute with the costings and I can see that my sister in law has already left a review regarding this. Your response t her is a flat out lie! As a person who was at the family meeting to discuss the arrangements I can say that was NEVER any discussion about a graveside burial only! It was always going to be in the chapel. We were offered a service for you to arrange a video to be played however we declined and I went home that night and started preparing the tribute video. Had we asked for a graveside only burial this would not have been an option. In addition to this the lady who came out for the family meeting even called someone to check that the chapel was going to be available on the day that we had requested the funeral be held. She commented saying that it shouldn't be a problem as the funeral wasn't going to be for two weeks but she would still check. There was a mistake made at your end not our families and you blaming us for this is absolutely poor service! You made a mistake, it happens but don’t try to deflect that and blame a grieving family! There were 10 of us at the family meeting and not once would any of us ever agree to a graveside only. The way you have handled this dispute with our family is quiet frankly disgusting and I will never call on your services again nor will I recommend it to anyone else!
