Oct 2025Have been waiting on a plaque proof from the funeral homes monumentalist since 19th March. After following up 8th May, J Kirk & Son claim they never received an email from us, but they sent a chaser to the monumentalist. Still no response and its now the 8th July, so we called them this time. We were told they would follow-up with the monumentalist, to see what the hold up was and they would call us back. 10th July, still no phone call. These people clearly don't care, or are not organised. Its disgusting and causing our family undue stress. Where is our late fathers plaque? This edit and additional review is well overdue, but needed to be added. We discussed this issue with the monumentalist owner after this post. He sincerely apologies to us and explained the unfortunate reasons behind the delay and proceeded to get it done. The plaque, when finished and placed was amazing and was exactly what we were after. Please don't fear using this monumentalist for your loved ones plaque. We do recommend this family owned business. Best wishes and thanks for looking after us.

Aug 2024I cannot thank the ladies of J Kirk & Sons enough for the kindness that was shown to us upon the passing of my dearest friend. They answered every question and provided excellent service for our loved one. I picked up the ashes today and can only say that they are the kindest people who are there for you when you need them the most. 5 Stars all the way, Our family could not be happier and would gladly recommend their company to anyone looking for a professional and outstanding company.
