May 2025We can't thank Chris B and the team at Alex Gow Geebung enough for how they handled our mum Pauline's sudden passing and funeral a month ago. They were outstanding every step of the way. A special shout out to Chris our director for handling the whole process like an absolute gentleman. He was not at all fake. I'm personally a tattooed ex security guard so notice fake people easily, but with Chris it was like we had been friends for years. Even suggesting the right celebrant with David showed that you read us correctly. He was also a perfect fit. Mum would have liked both of you, which put us at ease. Oct 2021This is the third time our family has used Alex Gow’s services and as always we have been delighted with the care and attention to detail provided by their amazing team. The art work on the order of service was outstanding and no detail was over looked. The digital presentation and accompanying music was perfectly executed. Marrying the audio and visual presentation was not an easy task and it was perfect. John, Matthew and Robert all played a part in making David’s funeral a truly memorable event and we have had so many call backs from guests who simply loved the service. We may have also started a trend with the Whicker casket with native flowers that presented so beautifully on the day. We cannot speak more highly of these people and would recommend Alex Gow funerals. They are truly our family undertakers.

Feb 2017Alex Gow at Newstead provided myself and my family exceptional service and support at our recent bereavement. From beginning to end the staff were courteous,kind and professional. There was no commercial pressure or persuasion ever applied to spend more on any necessary funeral item or service. They accommodated the time constraints for family members arriving from across the globe. They patiently enabled us to make our decisions at our pace. Their understanding and patience was exemplary. Our loved one was buried which meant there was the additional logistic of leaving the church and travelling to the cemetery.Alex Gow provided guidance in achieving this. The added extra touch of cold water being served following the burial in the midday heat was a much appreciated example of the attention to detail this funeral company provides. The reasonable costs and the flexible options were very comprehensible. The calm,caring exceptional staff and service is thoroughly recommended.
