Last week, we farewelled a deeply loved family member at Gregson & Weight Funeral Directors in Buderim, and we cannot speak highly enough of the care and support we received from the entire team. From our very first phone call at the hospital through to the service itself, every interaction was warm, respectful, and never felt rushed or like we were a burden.
The facilities at Buderim are truly beautiful. The grounds are peaceful and immaculately maintained, and the chapels with their glass rear walls looking out onto tropical vegetation create a calm and comforting space to say goodbye. The tea room was very spacious, modern, and thoughtfully set up for family and friends to meaningfully connect afterwards.
All staff were friendly and genuinely compassionate throughout the entire process, although we were especially fortunate to have Ben Murnane as our funeral director. Ben was empathetic, approachable, and incredibly supportive, while also giving our family the space and freedom to make the choices that felt right for us. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Ben even managed to ensure the air conditioning was just right for our family who were visiting from interstate, and clearly not built for the local weather. It's one of those little things that we will remember with a smile.
