Nov 2025Many thanks to all at Gregson and Weight for their compassion and kindness during the difficult time of my Mothers funeral. Zach was very patient and very responsive to all our needs. Tim was our Celebrant and was also excellent. The funeral was unavoidably detained due to a serious traffic accident, so those travelling from Brisbane were held up, so could have been stressful but G&W worked around it without any hitches.

Dec 2025Last week, we farewelled a deeply loved family member at Gregson & Weight Funeral Directors in Buderim, and we cannot speak highly enough of the care and support we received from the entire team. From our very first phone call at the hospital through to the service itself, every interaction was warm, respectful, and never felt rushed or like we were a burden. The facilities at Buderim are truly beautiful. The grounds are peaceful and immaculately maintained, and the chapels with their glass rear walls looking out onto tropical vegetation create a calm and comforting space to say goodbye. The tea room was very spacious, modern, and thoughtfully set up for family and friends to meaningfully connect afterwards. All staff were friendly and genuinely compassionate throughout the entire process, although we were especially fortunate to have Ben Murnane as our funeral director. Ben was empathetic, approachable, and incredibly supportive, while also giving our family the space and freedom to make the choices that felt right for us. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Ben even managed to ensure the air conditioning was just right for our family who were visiting from interstate, and clearly not built for the local weather. It's one of those little things that we will remember with a smile. We also had the privilege of working with Carly Connelly from Paper Hearts Celebrancy, who led the service with such warmth, respect, and care. Carly captured our loved one beautifully and g

Nov 2025We could not be more impressed with gregson and weight at Buderim. I would like to personally thank and give unlimited stars to our funeral director, Zach. K. He has made the traumatic experience of losing our little baby so much easier than I ever could have expected. Zach has not only been supportive and sympathetic, his communication has been outstanding via emails and also calling us to update us through the process of everything and has taken exeptional care of our little girl. We couldn't have asked for a better funeral home and director. We thank Gregson and Weight and Zach for such a stress free experience during such a stressful time.

Aug 2025We recently had the very difficult task of arranging a funeral for my wife's mother, and we were incredibly fortunate to have Lloyd from Gregson & Weight, Buderim guiding us through the process. From the very beginning, Lloyd’s compassion, kindness, and professionalism stood out. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He took care of everything – arranging the celebrant, the order of service booklet, flowers, the photo tribute, music, the beautiful chapel and even the refreshments after the service – all with such thoughtful attention to detail. Everything he did was not only highly professional but carried out with genuine care for both my wife and myself. One particularly special gesture was Lloyd going out of his way to organise a beautiful old 1959 hearse, which made the day even more meaningful and memorable. His support didn’t end with the service either. He has continued to show great compassion in personally arranging the delivery of my mother-in-law’s ashes, and his care throughout has been faultless. We cannot thank Lloyd enough and have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone facing the difficult task of organising a funeral. He will walk beside you with warmth, respect, and a deep understanding of the grief you are experiencing.

May 2025In one of life’s most difficult moments, Zach was a steady hand, a kind heart, and a true professional. From our first interaction, it was clear that this wasn’t just a job for him — it’s a calling. Zach handled every detail of our loved one’s service with dignity, grace, and an incredible attention to detail that brought us peace during an otherwise painful time. What makes Zach exceptional is not just his expertise, but his genuine empathy. He listened with patience, guided us gently through the process, and made sure every decision reflected the love and memory we wanted to honor. His presence was calming, his words thoughtful, and his dedication unwavering. Zach didn’t just arrange a funeral — he helped us create a meaningful, heartfelt tribute that truly celebrated a life well lived. We will always be grateful for his care, his professionalism, and the profound comfort he brought to our family. If you’re looking for someone who leads with compassion and serves with excellence, look no further than Zach. He is a remarkable funeral director and a remarkable human being.
