Feb 2026My experience saying goodbye to my Dad Samuel with Solace Family Funerals from the very beginning, Bec and Joe were both compassionate, understanding, helpful and incredibly efficient. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for Dad’s Memorial Service. The whole process felt supportive, personal and was tailored to the way we wanted to celebrate his life. A bit late on writing this review as we had been grieving as a family... but better late than never..... Their website was also an invaluable tool, full of clear and relevant information, with each step laid out on a simple timeline. Bec and Joe made sure we were always updated along every step, so we knew exactly where we were in the process and the checklist for next steps (like managing the cemetery plot, getting a priest) was a huge help at such a difficult time, especially if it is your first time having to do this kind of thing. The pricing is very reasonable, with flexible package options to suit different needs and budgets. Dad’s Memorial Service itself was so special they went that extra mile to make it personalized based in his interests and his Latin American/Mexican culture, which was so heartfelt, unique and filled with beautiful energy, we even had a Mariachi band. The entire Solace staff were amazing to make this sad day feel so special by honouring her life and remembering the amazing lady she was.
