Feb 2026Unlike many people I enjoy browsing cemeteries, relaxing in the quiet solitude and reading names and dates on plaques and tombstones. So it was at Castlebrook Memorial Park today. There for a funeral I took the opportunity to admire the manicured gardens and watch the busy groundsmen at work. A short stroll from Rouse Hill Town Centre yet a million miles from the blaring noise of Windsor Road. I was disappointed in the Garden Chapel; I have visited nicer chapels in other cemetery parks. The chapel would benefit from a makeover. That said, Castlebrook Memorial Park, Rouse Hill is a lovely place to reside when God calls.

Sept 2025Its been 3 weeks since my dads funeral and have not had any call or correspondence advising me of his ashes. I made a call today. The receptionist advised me that the service person looking after me is Kelly and then I got Gloria which took 20 min to tell me "oh yes dads ashes is there" . Unfortunately the plot is paid for as my mum is there too. A similar thing happened 5 years ago when my mum passed. A case of of the left hand don't know what the right hand is doing. I Should've known and gone elsewhere. NO empathy and respect at a time of loss of loved ones, sorry don't make it better. do it. stars only for well kept grounds
