Dec 2025It's difficult to quantify compassion and tactful care, particularly during moments of such intense punctuated grief. To write a review for something like this feels inadequate to convey the nuance of such intimate and intensely emotional experiences. But to not do so feels like an injustice to the kindness we were shown during the worst time of our lives. We lost our baby boy much too early and were thrown into an unforeseen and uncontrollable whirlpool of events that gradually dismantled everything we had hoped for, planned, cherished. At so many stages, we felt powerless and lost, incapable of clawing back any semblance of hope or positive outcome, which chipped us down to our core until we were raw and completely overwhelmed. The process of navigating what to do with our precious son's remains felt like some kind of detached, surreal obligation as a requirement of a system which didn't know him or care about him, but a necessity all the same. So when we got in contact with Lady Rose Funerals, we were doing so simply because they were recommended by the hospital and we didn't feel like anything much mattered at that stage, including whoever was going to be dealing with this process - after all, nobody could bring him back. Aug 2025I cannot thank Lady Rose enough for the care and compassion they showed my mother and I. From the moment we spoke to them, we felt supported and understood. Bec, who was looking after us, was truely wonderful. She is warm, patient, and so kind - nothing was ever too much trouble. She guided us gently through every step, making sure everything was exactly how we wanted, and did it all with such genuine care. In such a difficult and emotional time, Lady Rose helped make the process feel a little lighter and more manageable. We will always be grateful for the dignity, respect, and love shown to our family.
