Not a pleasant experience. Found George very pushy and quick to get you to sign everything and then was harassed for money right from the start. He also wanted to know how much the insurance was for and how much our monetary gifts amounted to, highly inappropriate.
I understand they are a business, but it is highly stressful when a loved one passes away suddenly. We were then told that they would organise the death certificate, which George lied about. 6 weeks later, we had to apply for the certificate ourselves, because they didn't, which left us in a difficult financial and logistical position. Without that certificate we were unable to settle accounts, change ownership of accounts over, close bank accounts, etc., the list goes on and on.
That said, there was a beautiful woman, who was empathetic and so caring and made us feel supported. I cannot remember her name, but she was lovely and was with us when viewing my Dad. I really needed that, and she is the only reason this service got any stars from me.
Other than that, I would never use this company again, nor recommend them. I think it's hit and miss whether you have a positive experience. I will say, before you sign ANYTHING, get them to send you a quote and a breakdown of costs, so you aren't lumped with an "added" cost. Just be aware and cover your bases, good luck.
