June 2024Simply the most amazing experience. When the staff from Simplicity Funerals Erina arrived to move Dad's body from his house to the funeral home, they were very sensitive and respectful in our time of great sadness. Danny was gentle and kind to deal with in person and on the phone. One would think that dealing with a funeral home when a parent dies would be an altogether sad and somber occasion. Of course there was sadness but, almost unbelievably, we ended up having hour-long laughing sessions with Kelly. Incredibly competent and empathic in her role but also extremely warm and...well, completely hilarious! I never would have imagined the experience of my siblings and I picking up Dad's ashes would have been a fun experience - but it was. Thank you for the gift of your outrageously funny story-telling but also how you balanced this with your very respectful treatment of our Dad.

Apr 2024Simplicity Funerals Erina Chapel’s brand new refurb is stunning! So modern and fresh. Immediately upon entering the room I felt it had a warmth and clam that felt very safe, gentle and welcoming. The colours, the lighting and the new seating are simply beautiful. The seats are so comfortable. I hope this space becomes well known and used as it shows just how successfully a funeral business can be modern and new without being detached from the human element. Congratulations Simplicity Funerals!
