Sept 2023Sarah and the whole team were so compassionate and comforting during the funeral arrangements process for my beautiful mother , Sarah really took her time to explain every process and was so professional in the way she helped us make the right choices . We had a viewing the day before the service and I was so touched with the attention to detail and love that Sarah put in as mum looked beautiful and at peace . The funeral service was beautiful and conducted so professionally and exactly how mum would of liked it , a beautiful slide show of photos and memories was put together by the team and everyone who viewed it commented how well put together it was .

Kathryn and Paul especially, supported our need to do a more personal service for our Mum, Marie Davies. Their compassion and kindness will be forever remembered. Jan 2024Nicole and her team were very professional and compassionate during our time of grief on the passing of our mother the whole experience in such sad times was beautiful and comforting. Nicole went above what I would have expected, she addressed the demands of a very difficult family member by arranging a personal viewing and making time available to meet her request at such short notice. Shamefully, this family member never attended the viewing or her mother’s funeral. I would not hesitate recommending C R Smyth & Sons of Cessnock to take care of your loved one with the utmost of dignity and respect.

Aug 2023I don't normally leave reviews, but I had to share my experience for anyone who has lost a loved one and is needing to find a funeral home. Nicole and the team were just incredible. Everything was perfect, nothing was ever too much trouble, they went above and beyond for us in every way and when we had a viewing for my grandma I was overwhelmed with the care and detail and incredible job they did to give my mum and my family such a beautiful last experience with my grandma. It wasn't just that they made everything perfect and put us at total ease and comfort, but it was their beautiful energy from start to finish. Sincerity, caring, warm, kind - everything you need to feel when you're feeling so overwhelmed and sad. Thank you so much Nicole and team for just being beautiful humans and going above and beyond for us during the hardest time of our life. I am appreciative beyond words and can't thank you guys enough.
