Dec 2025During an already devastating time, this company’s lack of communication and follow-through caused unnecessary stress and delay for our family. Andrew organised our father’s funeral with care and professionalism. After the service, we were assured he would contact us as soon as the death certificate arrived, expected within 3-4 weeks. When we followed up, we were told Andrew had been transferred and that our father’s death certificate had been sitting there for three weeks, forgotten, with no one contacting us. An enquiry we had made regarding the urn was also lost. This delay had serious consequences for my mum. Solicitors, financial advisors, Centrelink and other essential services could not proceed without the death certificate, and by the time we were aware to collect it, many could no longer fit us in before Christmas, causing further delays and financial stress into the New Year. Dad passed away in early November. When we asked how this had happened, we were told someone would contact us. No one ever did. Weeks later, we are still dealing with the impact. Andrew was genuinely kind and thorough, and it was clear he had taken care preparing our collected package and in passing on the information. Unfortunately, his team failed to follow through. Being forgotten during a bereavement process is unacceptable. We would not recommend this company.

Oct 2024Wow where do I begin 🤩 The morning of the death of my brother we were contacting funeral services & the first two we had contacted, one didn’t operate on long weekend as it was easter & one didn’t pick up! I remembered Sosefina worked for a funeral service but didn’t know the name of the company so I personally called her! She then directed me to the contact number & from that moment onwards we received the best service we could of asked for 😊 as Sosefina is a relative of ours we were able to have 24/7 contact with her & what ever questions or appointments we needed she will provide with top service. She was always there for us & she took care of our little brother! Every thing was communicated with detail & the service we had with her managers & directors was also top notch! She was always on time & was there hours before to prepare for our arrival! She understood if things need to be changed & we were able to communicate and get things sorted if needed! We loved her service & Joseph Medcalf service 😍 happy I had contacted her! Also thank you to the staff at Belmore Joseph Medcalf 😍 much appreciated
