During an already devastating time, this company’s lack of communication and follow-through caused unnecessary stress and delay for our family. Andrew organised our father’s funeral with care and professionalism. After the service, we were assured he would contact us as soon as the death certificate arrived, expected within 3-4 weeks. When we followed up, we were told Andrew had been transferred and that our father’s death certificate had been sitting there for three weeks, forgotten, with no one contacting us. An enquiry we had made regarding the urn was also lost. This delay had serious consequences for my mum. Solicitors, financial advisors, Centrelink and other essential services could not proceed without the death certificate, and by the time we were aware to collect it, many could no longer fit us in before Christmas, causing further delays and financial stress into the New Year. Dad passed away in early November. When we asked how this had happened, we were told someone would contact us. No one ever did. Weeks later, we are still dealing with the impact. Andrew was genuinely kind and thorough, and it was clear he had taken care preparing our collected package and in passing on the information. Unfortunately, his team failed to follow through. Being forgotten during a bereavement process is unacceptable. We would not recommend this company.
