Nov 2020Not a pleasant topic however these guys have been who we have used for each of our family members who have passed. The staff are very professional and compassionate when dealing with you through a very difficult time. For one of the funerals I requested a 3 working day turnaround and they were able to accommodate it. The service room and meeting areas are very well kept and appropriate for people grieving. The viewings have always been managed well. Parking is not an issue as there is a car park and surrounding street parking. I have not needed to use this service since the recent new owners so cannot comment on them.

Apr 2025A huge thank you to Lester & Son who recently assisted my family following the death of my much loved father Terry. Andrew was really lovely to deal with and took his time to ensure that we were happy with everything, and that we had all the time that we needed and were not rushed into making decisions. Everything was explained to us with much compassion and respect. On the day of the service, we did have some minor technical issues and Andrew was so very apologetic for them.... to be honest, I'm pretty sure it was just my dad letting us all know that he was there with us all. Nothing was too much of an ask. The staff member who assisted with the wake was also amazing and she was such a pleasure to deal with, and her respect and compassion to everyone in attendance was much appreciated. I wish I could remember her name, but so much of the day was a blur. She took the time to check in on me and ask if I needed anything, which was really lovely. I cannot fault the service provided by Lester and Son and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking assistance following the loss of a loved one. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you did to make this difficult process a little easier for us.

Tracey was especially amazing and respectful during what was a very sad time for myself and my family. Mum had the most beautiful send off.
