Jan 2026Jarred and the team at James Murray funerals were so helpful and respectful to our family after the recent passing of our beautiful Mum and the planning of her celebration of life . They were very accommodating with some changes we needed to make and they definitely took a lot of the stress out of a very sad and stressful time. The day ran very smoothly and the team at James Murray delivered a very processional, caring and personal service at their chapel for our Mum. We used their function facilities for refreshments afterwards and again everything ran smoothly and I all I needed to do was to relax and talk to our guests . We couldn’t have been happier with James Murray funerals and we would highly recommend them to anyone .

Jan 2026If you would like to wait 6 weeks for a death certificate, have documents not sent to birth deaths and marriages and be lied to by the office staff who promised it’s on its way and will be there any day now. Then these are your company to deal with. I am beyond disappointed. What was a traumatic time became so much harder with this company. Seem to have high staff turnover and we seem to get different people each time who tell us “well they’re no longer working for us” as a reason for why things weren’t done the first, second and third time.

Aug 2025We recently engaged James Murray Funeral Directors to ensure we respectfully moved my father on from his nursing home and then gave him a fitting farewell. The team at James Murray led by Emma were caring and compassionate and assisted us to ensure our goals for dads service were met. We chose James Murray as they were incredible during our darkest hour 7 years ago when our mum suffered a heart attack during her mums funeral. The manner in which they handled the situation will never be forgotten. Such care for all in attendance and for our family during this time.
