Yasemin and her team were incredibly professional and compassionate and were able to deliver us the most fitting, personalised and meaningful farewell. It was sad but it was a real celebration of life and the whole time we just kept saying "Rob would have loved this!"

As the celebrant at our loved one’s service, which was a small gathering of 30 people at our family home, Yasemin conducted the service in an efficient yet kind, passionate, and respectful manner. Yasmin is truly a genuine, and loving person. She managed the cremation and memorial service for our dear family member which was done in the most caring, thoughtful, and professional manner. Yasemin took the time to understand the life of our loved one which was important to us. Nov 2020I’m very pleased to provide a review for Yasemin and the team at Rite of Passage Funerals who organised my father’s funeral. During such a difficult time it was so lovely to engage with people who were empathetic, sincere and understanding during this time. The approach taken is far superior to a run of the mill funeral parlour with the styling absolutely beautiful, a tailored event and a real focus on celebration of your loved one’s life. Oliver was our celebrant and he was fantastic, I was nervous about discussing the proceedings given the emotions that go along with it but he made us feel comfortable from start to finish and our guests commented on how genuine they felt his delivery was. It was a truly beautiful event and my mother and I felt supported the whole way through. Some guests even commented it was the ‘best funeral’ they had been to - as far as such an event goes it seems strange to receive that comment but it really did reflect how wonderful a service it was, emotional yet uplifting as well. If I could give more stars I would - there is no comparison! Highly recommend!! Thanks 🙏

July 2020Words really cannot explain how fantastic Yas and Rite of Passage Funerals are. When my father recently passed, Yas helped us to make an incredibly sad day , into a truly magical one - really understanding what Dad was all about and creating a very unique and personal service for us . From the beautiful garden setting, to the live saxophonist playing Dads favoutite tunes - every little detail was carefully thought through and delivered beyond expectations. Thank you Yas and your team - we wil never forget that amazing day and are eternally grateful for your genuine love and caring xx

We are usually unprepared, certainly at an emotional level, but also on an organisational level. While it is undoubtably true that preparation does not remove grief, it does give you the opportunity to help shape how you deal with it.
